新人导演的第一部作品就把演技派演员错误casting，Barry已经30多了不好再演害怕爸妈离婚的青少年了，剧本也单薄，有种为杀而杀的感觉，对Jack的童年成长缺少描绘，冲突也来得过快，浪费了两位的演技

两段式从两个视角展现牧民冲突，根源上还是对这片土地既恨又爱的爱尔兰传统
从两方视角看同一件事，双方都觉得是对方的问题。个人感觉一再挑衅杀羊的那一方错的更多。有的时候恩怨纠葛仿佛只有一方销声匿迹才能解脱。
不要再让barry这个丑人染指恐怖片好不好，恐怖片也需要长的看起来起码舒服的演员。男主妈和前女友逃离夫权的悲剧，男主的癫狂，男二的坏种，没有一个讲清楚的，结尾两代女性的命运照应也显得无趣因为剪辑太乱了，特别是倒叙羊群和双蹄失踪部分。
